Where We Are:

• Virginia's economic growth is increasingly dependent on services rather than products. This includes such services as information technology, security, engineering, and environmental consulting. Many of these services are in high demand in countries around the world.

Where We Can Be:

• Virginia is a top state for exporting services.
• Virginia provides service companies assistance to sell internationally.

2008 Initiative:

• Create a self-subscribing, online service directory that includes service exporters from Virginia. A listing in the database is available to any Virginia company that provides an exportable service.
