- Virginia has the tourism brand Virginia is for Lovers, but this brand does not translate well in an international business environment.
Where We Can Be:
- Virginia has a state-wide initiative to promote Virginia businesses internationally.
- International business leaders recognize Virginia as synonymous with innovation and leading-edge technology, and as an ideal destination for international investment.
2008 Initiative:
- Develop a tagline for Virginia to use with international audiences. When it’s ready, economic development agencies can use the tagline on their web sites and in their marketing materials.
